Viareggio, one of the most popular seaside resorts in Tuscany, is located on the coast of the purest Ligurian sea.
Stroll along the Passeggiata Margherita - the long promenade that follows the seafront through the town - to see the best examples of the Art Nouveau architecture. The highlight for Art Nouveau enthusiasts is near the Marina end of the Passeggiata around the Gran Caffe Margherita.
The clean sea with mountain views is really amazing. The main beach is long, sandy, and covered in long rows of brightly coloured parasols, typical of the larger Italian resorts and quite a sight if you have never seen an Italian beach resort: there are literally thousands of neat rows of colourful parasols with two loungers and a small table placed under each of them.
The beaches of Viareggio are long sandy areas with comfortable access to the sea.

Этот город не самый привлекательный для прогулок, на мой взгляд, но чистое море с видом на горы очень удивило, ведь многие не очень отзываются от отдыхе в Виареджо.
Пляжи Виареджио представляют собой длинные песчаные территории с комфортным заходом в море. Виареджо знаменит своим Карнавалом, который проходит в феврале.
